DATING

Telco customers subscribing to dating service have their profile stored into the LBS platform. This profile may state parameters like, Alias, sex, age, hobbies, work, looking for partner, marital status etc.

To look for a date, the subscriber sends a message saying Locate Mate. This would act as an instruction to the LBS platform to match make the subscriber with other similar subscribers. The matchmaking parameters themselves can be part of the locate mate string set given by the subscriber himself e.g. Locate mate male 25-30 single.

Based on the profiles or defined match parameters, LBS platform searches its database and comes up with similar profiles within the particular cell(s). These profiles are sent to the subscriber in the form of a list of alias.

Now the subscriber may choose to initiate an anonymous SMS conversation. This is anonymous because, he is always addressing his messages to a predefined number and the other partys number is not made available to him.

The subscriber can update/modify his profile via the web or SMS. The chat permissions have already been predefined for all dating service subscribers. Telco can also add a permission request sequence for every chat request.
